Program faculty, students and alumni have been busy making contributions to research in the field of Public Health including the recent publication of faculty member Dr. Jaesin Sa and Alumnus Mohannad Habib's work on gender and racial/ethnic differences in the association between alcohol drinking patterns and body mass index in the Journal of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities.
Mika Fisher, MPH Class of 2019 shared the results of a qualitative data analysis project with Vallejo's Food Empowerment Project at a public forum on October 21st. Under the auspices of Public Health Faculty members Drs. Annette Aalborg and Carly Strouse, TUC students conducted an analysis of information gleaned from community focus groups who participated in an examination of food availability in Vallejo.
