Career Symposium

The TUC Public Health Program's Center for Workforce Development & Public Health Practice will host this event, which will feature a morning panel on public health professions, a luncheon alumni panel, two breakout sessions, and a Career Mart where students can network with public health organizations to obtain information on field study opportunities and jobs. Organizations may RSVP HERE to attend the Career Mart.  Space is still available for this free event.

  • THIS All-DAY EVENT IS MANDATORY FOR NEW INDEPENDENT MPH STUDENTS (FALL 2017 STARTS).

  • THE PA CLASS OF 2018 IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE LUNCHEON, BREAKOUT SESSION 2, AND THE CAREER MART.

  • MPH DUAL DEGREE STUDENTS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT AND ARE REQUIRED TO RSVP HERE.

This event was last held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 12:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the Farragut Inn on the TUC Campus. Students were provided the opportunity to receive career-related advice from professionals who have launched diverse and rewarding careers in global and public health. Students were also able to meet and exchange information with representatives from public health local organizations, conduct mock job interviews with faculty, and get valuable feedback on  resumes, and curriculum vitae for jobs, field study placements, and internships.
