Touro University California (TUC) is part o the Touro College and University System, a system of non-profit institutions of higher and professional education.  TUC is located in Vallejo, California on historic Mare Island in the San Pablo Bay, approximately one hour north of downtown San Francisco and minutes away from the Napa/Sonoma Wine Country.

We offer Master of Public Health with two Tracks/ Concentrations):  Community Health & Global Health as well as Dual/Joint Degrees  namely Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)/MPH Dual Degree); Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)/MPH Dual Degree; Joint Master of Science in Physicians Assistant Studies (MSPAS)/MPH.

The MPH Program can be completed within approximately two years of full-time study. Part-time students must complete the program within 5 years. Number of units required to complete the program is 42. We offer an affordable, convenient and flexible way for students and  working professionals to obtain your Master of Public Health degree through full or part-time study in a diverse, supportive and respectful learning environment. 

Public Health has over 60 Community Health field study sites located primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area and three (3) Global Health field study sites in Bolivia, Cambodia, and Ethiopia.

The Program's academic calendar is divided into semester sessions - from August to December (Fall), January to May (Spring), and June to August (Summer). In keeping with its founding traditions and values, TUC Master Calendar observes the Jewish calendar.

Admissions Requirements: 

A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 is required to apply to this program.  Competitive candidates will typically have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. 2017-2018 Tuition Fees (42 Credit/Units):  $800/unit  
Financial Aid:  Financial Assistance is available for qualified students. Students begin the process of applying for financial assistance by completing Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA application is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
