Welcome to the 2021 TUC Public Health Hero Awards!

This year we are hosting a virtual celebration to honor those who are supporting the Public Health Program’s mission “to develop outstanding public health professionals who support health as a human right, including physical, mental and social well-being, and address the historical roots and structural causes of injustice in collaboration with all communities."

About the Public Health Hero Award

The Public Health Hero Award was originally established in 2007 in conjunction with the Day of Compassion. Since 2010, the Public Health Hero Awards have been aligned with National Public Health Week.

This year's awardees are being honored for their significant contributions and commitment to public health. Their involvement in the TUC Public Health Program and in their own communities has been outstanding.
