Accreditation

Graduates of the Joint MSPAS/MPH Program receive training in two disciplines, each of which has its own accrediting body. Touro University California is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges' Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities.

Physician Assistant Program

The Physician Assistant Program is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).

The ARC-PA has granted Continued Accreditation to the PA Program sponsored by Touro University California. Continued accreditation is an accreditation status granted when a currently accreditated program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards.

Continued Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the Standards. The approximate date for the next comprehensive review of the program by the ARC-PA will be September, 2018.

Master of Public Health Program

The MPH Program at Touro University California received full accreditation from the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) for a five-year term, effective October 30, 2009 extending to December 31, 2014.

The Public Health Program accreditation information can be found here. More information regarding CEPH and the accreditation process of the Public Health Program can be found at http://www.ceph.org/.
